Seniors
Senior citizens can begin lowering transportation costs with a TARC Seniors' ID Card.
A TARC Senior's ID card allows you to ride TARC and use 10 Ride Special Tickets (purchased in strips of 10 for just $7.50), or you can ride for a reduced cash fare of just 75˘ when you show your TARC ID card to the driver upon boarding the bus.
All citizens age 65 and older are eligible to get a TARC Senior Citizens' ID card. Valid Medicare card qualifies applicant for TARC Senior and Citizens with Disabilities TARC I.D.

Shopper Shuttles
TARC offers three shopper shuttle routes designed to help seniors get to shopping venues and doctor’s offices. The shuttle fare is 50 cents, or 25 cents for seniors, students and people with disabilities. These are the days they run:
- Route #51S Old Louisville Shopper – Wednesday only
- Route #58S Bashford-Oxmoor Shopper – Tuesday only
- Route $83S Southern Indiana – Wednesday only
