Student I.D.

All high school students are eligible to get a TARC Student ID card.
All high school students are eligible to get a free Public Library Power Plus card, which also serves as a JCPS/TARC ID.
The Power Plus card allows students to ride for the discounted rate of 75¢.
Just show your ID, with name and expected graduation date on the back, to the driver when boarding the bus and pay the 75¢ fare.
Students in the lower grades may ride for 75¢ cash or a 10-ride Special Ticket (sold in strips of 10 for $7.50) without a TARC Student ID card.
How to Apply for an ID Card
Bring proof of high school registration and $3.00 to cover the cost of the I.D. to:

The Nia Neighborhood Travel and Jobs Center
2900 West Broadway
Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 12 - 12:30)
Closed on Saturdays
