TARC & APTA Host Reception for Small Business Networking

 

Louisville, KY (May 08, 2019)During the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) MOBILITY CONFERENCE MAY 19 – 22, members of APTA’s Business Member’s Small Business Committee and members of the Transit Authority of River City are hosting a reception. If you are a SMALL BUSINESS this event is for you.

Have you ever considered expanding your footprint? So many small firms are looking for ways to partner or market outside of their immediate areas. Join us as we network with each other. This is a reception for small businesses only.

Small Business Members of APTA and the small and minority-owned businesses of Louisville are exclusively invited to attend this joint networking reception. This is an opportunity for Louisville to expand its assistance to the S/M/W/DBE community. Come hear about plans to open a COMTO Chapter (Conference of Minority Transportation Officials) in Louisville. Listen to APTA representatives about the benefits of an APTA membership. If you are interested in optimizing your small business connections, join us to find new teaming partners and connect with colleagues, as you explore ways to build capacity, expand your geographic reach and promote the services and products of your firm.

There is no charge to participate however space is limited to the first 50 that RSVP. The event is open to members of invitees only. You do not have to be registered for the APTA Mobility Conference to participate.

COMTO’s mission is to ensure opportunities and maximum participation in the transportation industry for minority individuals, businesses, and communities of color, through advocacy, information sharing, training, education, and professional development.

APTA’s mission is to strengthen and improve public transportation, APTA serves and leads its diverse membership through advocacy, innovation and information sharing.
