TARC Begins Annual Fare-Free Holiday Service for Amazon Employees

Louisville, Ky. (October 20, 2019)  ̶  The Transit Authority of River City’s annual extended holiday service with Amazon began on Sunday, October 20th. This program provides fare-free service to and from work during the holidays for Amazon employees in Jeffersonville through January 20th, 2020.

We’re happy to once again provide this service to Amazon for another holiday season,” said Ferdinand L. Risco Jr., TARC executive director. “Providing a workforce extra benefits that save them time and money on transportation improves retention, creates a happier employee, and improves the health of our larger community.”

The TARC Corporate Connections program is a great benefit to employers and employees. The program provides significant savings and perks to Greater Louisville region companies who join. The authority will work with employers and organizations to customize a package that works for their needs.

TARC has several options available and invites all regional companies to connect with TARC to save on resources and time.
