TARC and PARC team up to get you to the St. James Court Art Show

Louisville, Ky. (September 29, 2026)— Skip the parking headaches and ride TARC to one of Louisville’s biggest fall traditions—the St. James Court Art Show this Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4.

Patrons can park at PARC’s Brown Hotel Parking Garage (658 S. Third Street) for $15 and get round-trip, one-seat, 15 minute frequency rides to St James Court. PARC operations staff will be on hand at the garage to distribute tickets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

“We want to help everyone enjoy this year’s St. James Court Art Show without the headache of finding parking close to the event,” said TARC Executive Director Ozzy Gibson.

From the Brown Hotel, attendees will board at the “TARC Boarding Here” sign near the Brown Hotel Garage & S. Third Street. The bus will drop off at First and Magnolia.

For the return trip from the art show, patrons will look for the same boarding sign at Second and Magnolia and catch the bus back downtown to the Brown Hotel.

“This annual event brings thousands of people to Old Louisville, and our goal is to make getting there as easy as possible,” said Gerald Howell, PARC executive director.  “Visitors can park downtown at the Brown Hotel garage at 658 S. 3rd Street and take a ride on TARC to the art show.  It’s an easy and affordable way to reduce traffic so that everyone can enjoy one of Louisville’s great traditions.”  

The first bus will leave the Brown Hotel Parking Garage at 10 a.m. each morning, the last bus will leave the art show at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
