1. Decide Where to Go 2. Find the Best Route to Get There
Use the Trip Planner on our home page, or view our Maps & Schedules to see a full regional system map as well as schedules and individual maps for each route. 3. Get to Your Pickup Location
Arrive at least five minutes before the bus is scheduled to get to your stop. Be sure to stand on the correct side of the street for the direction you want to go (Northbound or Southbound, Eastbound or Westbound), and that you’re at a labeled TARC shelter or bus stop.
4. Wave to Signal Your Driver
The Destination of each bus will be displayed on the digital sign above the front bus window. To help our entire system run as efficiently as possible, please safely wave from the sidewalk, to communicate to the driver you would like to be picked up. 5. Must Have Full Fare
A farebox is located just inside the door, at the top of the steps. Please have your MyTARC card ready to tap(coming January 2019), or have exact cash fare (1.75). 6. Enjoy the Ride!
7. Know Where You Are While in Transit
Pay Attention to Cross Streets. Be sure to keep in mind how far you are from your destination. 8. Signal to the Driver Before Your Stop
A block before your stop, pull the overhead cord or push the yellow strip between the windows. 9. Exit the Rear Doors
Congratulations you’ve arrived! Enjoy the workday, school day, day out on the town, and your evening out!
