TARC Offering Fare-Free Service on June 25th, Supporting National “We Can Do This” Vaccination Effort

June 15, 2021

TARC is pleased to join Louisville Metro Government and the U.S. Department of Human Services for an “All-of-America sprint to get more American’s vaccinated”, with a day of fare-free service on Friday, June 25th.

“If access to vaccination sites is a barrier for some in our community, we want to help with that,” said Carrie Butler, TARC Executive Director. “Getting vaccinated helps you stay healthy, our community stay healthy, and gets us all back to the things we love as soon as possible.”

With routes that serve vaccination sites such as Walgreens, Kroger, CVS Pharmacy, regional hospitals, and other pop-up vaccination locations, TARC and TARC3 aim to help Greater Louisville reach a 70% vaccination rate.

On June 25th, 2021, Fare-free service will be offered along all TARC routes—including TARC3, to help customers access vaccination sites.
