TARC Offering the 2023 Summer Youth Pass

Louisville, KY (May 18, 2023) –TARC is pleased to once again offer Greater Louisville youth ages 6 to 19, $30 unlimited travel throughout the summer with the Summer Youth Pass. 

The pass will cover the cost of fare on all TARC routes from June 1 to August 31.

Beginning Monday, May 22, local youth or their parents can purchase the Summer Youth Pass for $30. A current MyTARC student-ID card is required. 

“The Summer Youth Pass is another great community tradition,” said Carrie Butler, TARC Executive Director. “School-age kids can travel safely on TARC all summer long to visit friends and family, get to summer jobs and activities, or just to have fun.”

If you do not currently have a reloadable MyTARC student-ID card, you will need to purchase one at Union Station (1000 West Broadway) or the Nia Center (2901 West Broadway), for an additional one-time set-up fee of $5. A photo will be taken for the card.
