TARC offering the 2026 Summer Youth Pass
June 2, 2026TARC is pleased to once again offer Greater Louisville youth ages 6 to 19, unlimited travel throughout the summer with the Summer Youth Pass.
The pass will cover the cost of fare on all TARC routes from June 1 to August 31. Available now, local youth or their parents (for their child) will be able to purchase this year’s Summer Youth Pass for $45. A current MyTARC student-ID card is required.
The Summer Youth Pass can now be loaded to MyTARC fare cards, and will be accepted to ride TARC beginning June 1. In order to activate your Summer Youth Pass you must visit TARC headquarters at Union Station (1000 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40203). If you do not currently have a reloadable MyTARC student-ID card, you will need to purchase one at one Union Station for an additional one-time set-up fee of $5. A photo will be taken for the card.
Please note: Passes will not be available online or with the MyTARC Mobile app.
