TARC and PARC team up to get you to this year’s music festivals

September 2, 2025

PARC it and TARC it: Easy in, Easy out.

Heading to Bourbon & Beyond or Louder Than Life? Your ticket to great music starts downtown.

TARC will be partnering with PARC (Parking Authority of River City) to offer a great option for those headed to either Bourbon & Beyond (September 11-14) or Louder Than Life (September 18-21).

“Reducing traffic congestion is something public transit does every day,” said Ozzy Gibson, Executive Director of TARC. “We’re happy to partner with PARC again this year and get you a great deal on a ticket for frequent, on-time trips to and from these major music festivals.”

Skip the traffic and ride easy. Concertgoers can park downtown at the PARC garage (115 W Jefferson) for just $15, which includes roundtrip TARC service for everyone in the car. The ride will take approximately 25 minutes each way.

  • From the PARC garage, board the #2 bus at 1st and Liberty. Buses will come approximately every 15 to 20 minutes throughout the course of the day, and take you to the festival at Phillips Lane and Freedom Way, near Gate One.
  • From the festival, board the #2 bus near Gate Four at Crittenden Drive between the Cracker Barrel and El Nopal to return downtown. After the concert, buses will run until at least midnight.

“Make your festival trip hassle-free—park at PARC’s convenient downtown garage and ride TARC straight to the fun,” said PARC Interim Director Gerald Howell.

TARC team members will be available to answer questions and direct riders at the downtown stops in the morning and early afternoon and at the festival pick up point in the evening.
