August 2, 2022Welcome back, students! TARC is happy to once again help you get to class. Please see the below tips to help you arrive to school safely and on time.
Traveling with your MyTARC Card
Reduced-fare student MyTARC cards are ONLY AVAILABLE for purchase at TARC’s Headquarters / Union Station (1000 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40203). Students must bring a valid photo ID and proof of enrollment to verify eligibility.
You can add fare to your MyTARC card in-person at Union Station, online at ridetarc.org (please allow up to 48 hours to become available when purchased online), or at select Kroger retail stores.

Planning your Trip
Transit app and Google Maps are great resources for helping you get to your destination safely and on time. Both apps are available for free in your app store, and utilize real-time bus information.
Using WiFi on Board
Need some extra time to turn that A into an A+ ? All TARC buses are equipped with free WiFi.
Code of Conduct
Your driver’s primary job is to operate the bus safely. With your help we can ensure everyone has a safe and smooth ride. Please view the Code of Conduct to learn the “rules of the road” when riding TARC.
